Amazing footage of 1967 underground nuclear explosion, 22 miles southwest of Dulce, New Mexico

from Norio Hayakawa at Civilian Intelligence Central

Here is an amazing footage of the 1967 underground nuclear explosion that took place 22 miles southwest of Dulce, New Mexico (this footage was found in the National Archives in Washington, D.C. and is about 40 minutes long, with absolutely no sound):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOwy2bl9Hb4

On May 12, I brought a group from Albuquerque and Rio Rancho to visit the Ground Zero of this historical site. It was my third visit to this site. The first time was in 2007 when a Jicarilla Apache resident of Dulce guided me here. The next visit was on May 2, 2012 when I came here with a friend from Rio Rancho.
On this last visit on May 12, I also invited Hoyt Velarde, resident of Dulce and long-time Director of Public Safety who had never been to this site before.

To get to this historical site is quite difficult for most folks, due to the fact that the 7 mile dirt road that leads to this site is not clearly posted as County Rd. 357 but, instead, is only posted as J-10 Rd., a Jicarilla Apache Rd.
It is accessible through this south entrance of J-10 Rd. on Hwy 64, about 10 miles west of the juncture of Hwy 537 and Hwy 64, near mile marker 115.

Norio Hayakawa's Free Guided Tour to Dulce, New Mexico on May 12, 2012

from Norio Hayakawa at Civilian Intelligence Central

This is to inform everyone that I will be conducting a FREE, guided one-day tour to Dulce, New Mexico on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
The theme of my free, guided tour is: UFO CONSPIRACY TOUR OF DULCE, NEW MEXICO.
The information is also posted on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9AknF3k4dU

I will be leading a car caravan for this guided tour. The car caravan will depart at 6:30 a.m. from the northwest-most corner of the parking lot of HOME DEPOT (located at the northeast corner of Hwy 550 and Sprint Blvd. in Rio Rancho.

The caravan will proceed on Hwy 550 going towards Cuba.
We will then go north on Hwy 537 (which will begin at the corner of Hwy 550 and Apache Nugget Casino).
We will then go West on Hwy 64.

FIRST STOP:

GROUND ZERO of the 1967 underground explosion (PROJECT GASBUGGY) that took place 22 miles SW of Dulce.
We will be spending about an hour or so at this location, from around 9:45 a.m. to around 10:45 a.m.
For those of you who will be joining us directly at Dulce, here are the directions on how to get to GROUND ZERO.

From there, we will proceed to Dulce, going east on Hwy 64.
We will join with the other contingent of the trip (those who will meet us directly at Dulce) at the parking lot of Best Western Hotel in Dulce.

The caravan will depart from the parking lot of Best Western Hotel at 11:30 a.m.

We will take you to the famous Gomez grocery store on Hwy 64 and view the Gomez family’s last remaining ranch (where cattle mutilations took place in the 70s).

We will then proceed back to Dulce and take a left on Narrow Gage Rd.
We will make a right at J-2 dirt road, which is located at the foothills of the Archuleta Mesa.

FIRST STOP:
the road that goes up to Mount Archuleta.

SECOND STOP:
Seguro Canyon Rd. (the road that goes up to Archuleta Mesa)....... We will not go up the Archuleta Mesa.

THIRD STOP:
We will stop at the picnic area of Navajo River on J-2 road. This area was the scene of alleged bigfoot sightings years ago.

FOURTH STOP:
The bridge from where communication towers of Archuleta Mesa are clearly visible. We will also go to the Dulce Rock area (where there have been many sightings of strange flying objects in the past).

We will also go to the Dulce Lake.

We will also go to the Dulce airport area (where there had been reports of strange hovering objects at the end of the runway in the past).

We will also visit the neighboring town of Lumberton from where we can see the Eastern Slopes of Archuleta Mesa.

We will talk to some local residents who have some amazing sighting reports in that area.

We will then go back to Dulce and visit the parking lot of Dulce Elementary School (that has a rather enigmatic design of its circular driveway as seen from satellite photos).
We will see the “arrow” on that driveway.
We will also look at a snow-capped mountain located northeast of this spot - exactly 18 miles away from that spot.

At each of these stops, I will be giving explanations of the significance of each location. There will be MUCH, MUCH MORE to this very interesting (and educational) field trip to Dulce, New Mexico.

Please join us on Saturday, May 12, 2012!!

Once again, this is all posted on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9AknF3k4dU

A future underground facility (for selected individuals) being planned near Area 51?

from Norio Hayakawa at the Civilian Intelligence Central

Here is a proposal by Las Vegas mega-billionaire, Robert Bigelow.
His plan is to build an underground facility (for selected individuals) at the new Nevada National Security Site, near Area 51:

Area 51...a social, cultural and psychological phenomenon entrenched in America's "sub-culture"

from Norio Hayakawa at: Civilian Intelligence Central

E-mail = noriohayakawa@gmail.com

March 16, 2012:

It seems so astounding just to think that in the past 25 years or so, Area 51 has transformed itself from an obscure R & D and testing facility at Groom Lake, Nevada, to the world's most well-known "secret base", bar none!!

In the mid to the late 1950's, the location so remote and unknown to the world was not even officially CLASSIFIED initially, according to military aviation historian, Peter Merlin. It was then a CIA managed operating base.

The term Area 51 was not even officially used by the Air Force even later on (and even to this day) because it was simply a designation initially created by the Atomic Energy Commission (today's Department of Energy) to describe various parcels in the Nevada Test Site.

There is only one official name for the facility used by the U.S. government: "an operating base near Groom Lake". Notice that the government does not even state that the base is at Groom Lake. It only states that it is "near" Groom Lake!!

It seems that the government does not even officially use AFFTC-DET 3 as a designation for the area. (Air Force Flight Test Center Detachment 3, allegedly a managerial umbrella of Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California).

(The exception was when a Security Manual for security personnel was printed in the late 1980s. They did use the desgination DET-3, alluding to the AFFTC).

It was around 1987 when rumors slowly began to circulate among some researchers that the base (among other projects such as hyper-sonic spy planes) may have been test-flying a recovered spacecraft of extraterrestrial origin!!

In 1988 Area 51 was mentioned briefly by name in a nationwide 2-hour FOX TV Special entitled: UFO Cover-up Live.

Then in 1989, with the arrival of Bob Lazar , Area 51 became the 'de-facto' Alien Base story to the believers. The rest is history, as everyone knows.

However, a strange rumor started in 1997 (that resulted from a misinformed article that appeared on POPULAR MECHANICS magazine) that Area 51 had closed its doors and had moved to Utah. Astonishingly, this rumor still seems to be believed by some folks.

Contrary to that unfounded rumor, Area 51 had never moved its operations elsewhere. In fact, today it even seems to be expanding. It is definitely alive and well!

And it seems to go hand in hand (probably in a working relationship) with the newly designated Nevada National Security Site (N2S2), the former Nevada Test Site, Area 51's next-door neighbor and a growing testing range designated for such things as anti-terrorist weapons programs.

Today Area 51 is a sprawling complex that almost resembles a small city with so many structures that are easily visible even with just a decent set of binoculars from atop Tikaboo Peak, 26 miles away.

It is estimated that as of 2012, anywhere from 1800 to 2200 employees continue to work at the growing base in diverse, highly compartmentalized programs conducted by at least a dozen defense contractors. Yes, this is the reality.

However, at the same time, Area 51 has solidly (and conveniently, for the government) entrenched itself in the sub-culture that includes a segment of the population's die-hard belief in UFOs and Aliens. Thus a convenient "laughter curtain" has been created to "muddy the waters" of what 'reality' may be to some conspiracy-oriented folks. It has become a quasi religious belief to many in the so-called "UFO subculture".

Yes, it has become a social, cultural and psychological phenomenon, far removed (some say) from reality but much needed for some folks who may feel the urge to believe in something (i.e., "aliens" who are working with our government secretly in places like Area 51, will soon reveal themselves to us and help us solve all these human problems), especially in these troubling, uncertain age of global economic, social and political crises.

To the mainstream, it may seem quite amazing that there are still some folks that actually believe that somehow the base is connected with Alien Technology!!

(Of course, some may rightfully say that ultimately we do not know for sure, since there is no proof to support that belief nor is there proof that such a thing is not there).

By the way, here is a tune that I composed back in 2005 while I was pondering at home about Area 51. It was just a couple of month away then from the 50th Anniversary of Area 51. I had an unforgettable experience of performing this music at a public gathering celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the base. The event was held next to the perimeters of Area 51 in May of 2005 under the watchful eyes of base security. Enjoy:

French physicist confirms 1988 UFO sighting over Mount Archuleta!!

from Norio Hayakawa at Civilian Intelligence Central

UFO SIGHTING OVER MOUNT ARCHULETA, New Mexico, USA, October 23, 1988

February 28, 2012
from French physicist, Dr. John F. Gille

(QUOTE):

To the memory of Officer Gabriel Valdez

I. LOCATION/TIME: (See ANNEXES)

Southern slopes of Mount Archuleta, 5 miles North-West of Dulce, New Mexico.
Dulce is about 27 miles west of Chama, on US 64, in Northwestern New Mexico, Rio Arriba County, and on the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation, only 4.5 miles south of the Colorado State Line.

- Location of witnesses: 400 meters (435 yards) south-east of Mount Archuelta Summit (elevation: 8136 feet = 2480 meters; Longitude = 107 degrees 03'17" W, latitude = 36 degrees 59'19" N - only 1.27 km = 0.79 miles = 1390 yd south of the Colorado State Line).

Witnesses' spot height: 7900 ft = 2408 m

- Location of the phenomenon: South to North trajectory for about 2 miles (3 km), stopping very close to Mount Archuleta summit, seen from a 25 to 35 degree angle ('altitude' in astronomy lingo) to the horizon (which makes for a height above sea level of 2600 - 2700 m, or 8500' - 8800').

- Estimated closest observers - trajectory distance: 440 m (480 yd)

- Distance observers - spot where the UFO stopped: 470 m (510 yd)

- Time: 7:51 pm (1951 hours) local (Mountain) time.

Duration: a few seconds (Ms. A. {see further, II.} a registered nurse, i.e., a well-trained observer of brief periods of time, measured in seconds, estimated the duration of the whole observation as 5 to 6 seconds).

II. WITNESSES:

* Elaine A., 44 RN, Albuquerque Veterans Hospital {all ages and occupations are those of 1988}

* Gabriel Valdez, New Mexico State Police, residing in Dulce {sadly, Gabe Valdez passed away in August, 2011}

* Edmund Gomez, rancher, a friend of Mr. Valdez, and a local resident

* "Jack" (not his real name), PhD, a research scientist for a major labe in the US {This gentleman, who hiked with us, was NOT Mr. 'Jason Bishop' (a.k.a., Tal Levesque), as 'BRANTON' has erroneously supposed in a note of Chapter 2 of his DULCE BOOK (currently freely available on the web). The real "Jack" was presumably still alive in 2011.

* Manuel, local kid {according to Edmund Gomez, it was Manuel, Jr., younger brother of Edmund}

* Jeff, younger son of Mr. Valdez

* John Gille, PhD, 46 and residing in Albuquerque, NM {University of Marseilles, 1973}

III. CIRCUMSTANCES OF SIGHTING

I was interested in the Dulce area because of rumors related to: a) an allegedly, 'jointly' (i.e. CIA - Alien!) occupied' underground facility, situated, said the rumor, under Mount Archuleta; b) numerous associated UFO sightings, as it has been persistently reported by local residents through the grapevine. {See: UFO Crash at Aztec, by William S. Steinman, publisher: UFO Photo Archives, Tucson 1986, ISBN: 0-934-269-05-X, p. 578 - 604 ("The Bennewitz Story"), and the well-known John Lear Statement, (privately published) December 29, 1987, revised March 25, 1988 (see also ParaNet, October 16, 1988), I had translated the latter in French, and, under that form, the Statement ("Declaration de John Lear") had a nice circulation in the French domain, however on the sly).

A night of observation, in the mountains west of the town of Dulce, had been planned for some time (and not later than September 1988) under the leadership of Mr. Valdez.

Since about 7:30 p.m., we had been playing a game (erroneosly interpreted as 'Ouija' by some) at the instigation of Mr. Valdez:

Five players were required: one of them (called the 'subject'), in turn, is sat on a chair. The other four place their hands on the head of the 'subject' and have a moment of quiet. Then, at a signal, they lift him (or her0, using only the tips of their forefingers, jabbing them under the subject's armpits and knees. In most cases, the subject is lifted very fast and easily one foot or two up. When the same stunt is attempted without 'meditation time', it is usually impossible to move the subject, even when the combined efforts result in much strain applied on the joints of the forefinger. Indeed, I know not of any conventional explanation - in term of our Western Science - of this innocent game, played as it is around the world (I had played it in France when I was in my twenties).

Just as we were processing the last person (Jack), one of Mr. Valdez' sons shouted: "Look! Here it comes!" {I do not make the statement that there was a casual correlation between what we had just been doing and what what-ever it may have been - we saw next. I merely report two consecutive events which may have or may have not been correlated}.

3. LOOK OF THE PHENOMENON:

The "object" (hereby designated as such - I personally was not able to make out any structure in it) came from the south at great speed, on a flat, straight, rectilinear and horizontal trajectory resulting, for the retina in our eyes {Through the persistence of luminous impression, a standard physiological reaction.}, in a perfectly straight luminous line (yellowish, and of some thickness, like one who would have resulted from a plane's landing light.

It was definitely, not a plane. I use this comparison to give an idea of the luminosity of the trajectory.
We had seen already a number of shooting stars that night.
The path of the trajectory of our phenomenon was maybe hundreds or thousands of times more luminous than theirs).
There was not any sound coming from the phenomenon.

The 'object' stopped dead on its tracks. Its trajectory's final spot was very close to the top of Mount Archulelta, as we saw it from where we were.
At the same time, it became extremely luminous, lighting at least half the sky up. It looked literally like the blossoming of a flower of light. There was a "display of gorgeous lights of pure color" {to quote the John Lear Statement}: yellow, pink, green - enhanced by the center of that luminous phenomenon, giving out a shower of sparks (not unlike portable fireworks mounted on a stick, seen on the 4th of July). There was kind of a mist, too, around the object's center, at this same moment.
It then sort of "folded on itself", and disappeared, vanished.
There was not anymore anything to be seen. Ms. A's expression to describe the end of the phenomenon as "it slipped away into another dimension".

IV. ANNEXES:

A. Maps:

1. United States (with several alleged points of interest spotted)

2. Part of the South-West, including New Mexico (the curve drawn with a felt pen inside New Mexico is the Continental Divide)

3. Northwestern part of New Mexico

4. Jicarilla Apache Reservation

5. Part of the "Wirt Canyon" map sheet, to the 1:24,000 scale, published by the US Geological Survey.

B. Photos:

1. Our party ready to leave (from left to right, Mrs. Valdez - she did not join the trip -, Mr. Gabriel Valdez, Manuel, John Gille, Edmund, "Jack", Greg, Jeff. The photo was taken by Ms. A.)

2. Our campsite, seen from front of Mount Archuleta summit, the next morning

3. Mount Archuleta, seen from the campsite, the next morning.

C. Sketch of relative positions of observers versus phenomenon:

TF = trajectory, C= campsite, H = orthogonal projection of 'C' unto the estimated vertical plane including the trajectory (as drawn on the map - see annex A.5., CT = minimum distance observers - trajectory = 44 m (= 480 yd), F = end of the phenomenon, "flower of light", Distance 'C' = 'F' = 490 m (= 530 yd)
The trajectory was about 2000 feet above the lowest point under the estimated path of the 'object', which is the Navajo River, elevation about 6600 feet.

NOTE:

I usually have a rather impatient attitude toward UFO observations who exhibit a lower strangeness level than CE-IV's (the so-called abductions). Now, the above described case is not even a Close Encounter (with the object less than 200 yd from the witness). Actually, for several months, I did not overdramatize the importance of the October 23 observation. However, it is not its strangeness level, undoubtedly low on an absolute reference scale, which gives its interests to that humble LITS (Light In The Sky); it is the place where it happened.

The exact location where the phenomenon did happen had been described, prior to our Oct. 23 observation, in at least two published documents. Namely, the John Lear Statement, and UFO Crash at Aztec, by W. S. Steinman. The John Lear Statement had been called a hoax and/or a piece of disinformation by some. We are, obviously, unable to check presently the genuineness of all claims stated in so rich a text.

It may be worthy of note, nevertheless, that our observation on the slopes of Mt. Archuleta was kind of a 'Road to Damascus' for one member of our party, a well-bred, experimented, hardnosed physicist.

This fact alone, we believe, could well be a justification not to discard the observation, and, above all, to give a second look to Mr. Paul Bennewitz statements, according to which there is an underground base operated by aliens under Mount Archuleta.

That hypothesis earned Mr. Bennewitz {Mr. Bennewitz passed away in June 2003} a lot of rejection and jeers from the ufologic community, and very likely also, unfortunately, persecutions of an altogether mcuh more serious nature {see, for instance, the confessed (Las Vegas, July 1989) shady maneuvers of a Bill Moore. See also COSMIC TOP SECRET, by William H. Hamilton III, a relevant extract of which is currently, and freely, available on the net. {JFG, Dec. 17, 2011}.

We'd like, someday, to dwell deeper into that mysterious affair. Let's now be content not to deprive the ufologic community of the details of this simple observation.

Dulce, New Mexico, the mysterious "earthquakes" of 1966 and 1967 and Project Gasbuggy

from Norio Hayakawa at: Civilian Intelligence Central

E-mail = noriohayakawa@gmail.com

January 10, 2012:

Dulce, New Mexico, the mysterious "earthquakes" of 1966 and 1967 and Project Gasbuggy

Here is a fascinating report which was posted several years ago on the Internet by an anonymous researcher who only went by the name of Firefoot:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=113796814867830262616.0004510b49d1517768f16

This researcher, Firefoot, apparently studied the earthquake epicenters in and around Dulce from January 23, 1966 to December 10, 1967. Apparently unusual "earthquakes" were occuring in these areas nearly a year before Project Gasbuggy took place on December 10, 1967!!

(December 10, 1967 was when the U.S. exploded a nuclear device a mile and a half underground, about 22 miles southwest of Dulce, New Mexico.....it was called Project Gasbuggy and was explained by the U.S. Government as an experiment that would help ease the flow of natural gas trapped under hard, tuffa rocks in the entire region......it was an explosion of 30 megaton bomb, which caused a 5.10 magnitude earthquake in the area, extending all the way to Farmington).

This anonymous researcher, Firefoot, covered all known earthquake information from a point that extends 50km in every direction around the coordinates 37.052N, 106.907W.

He states that for some reason, 95% of the earthquakes occured between 1966 and 1967.
He states that it is possible that there was underground construction occuring.
He then made this map using the USGS/NEIC data.

As you go to his above link, he points out that Red "tacks" show coordinates where MULTIPLE earthquakes occured. Blue "tacks" show places where there was one earthquake only.

He made black grid lines to connect lines of more than TWO earthquakes which happened to happen along a meridian.
He says that the chances of there being so many lines of more than two earthquakes is statistically nil!!

The green and red lines show locations between places where multiple earthquakes occurred where they just happen to measure into perfect triangles. (As stated, lines of these two triangles are marked with green and read.)
"Very strange to say the least!" he says.

He believes explosives and RAND Corp digging machines were used.

But once again, I would like for you to go to the link for more fascinating information that I would like to point out. Please study the link very carefully again and since you can zoom in to any location within this google map/satellite imagery, please do so anytime:

(try to keep it in the satellite imagery mode, as much as possible)

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=113796814867830262616.0004510b49d1517768f16

MYSTERY SPOT 18 MILES NORTHEAST OF DULCE, NEW MEXICO:

In his explanation on the left side, he mentions three items of interest:

These three items are Purple "tacks":

He describes one as a "hangar in the forest", which is the northwestern point of the equilateral triangle. The equilateral triangle is indicated with purple color. If you zoom in, yes, you can definitely see an isolated building which definitely could be a hangar. This location is slightly south southeast of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Next he describes a "door in the mountain". This is the eastern point of the equilateral triangle. What he calls a "door in the mountain" (if you zoom in) appears to be an anomalous spot...a strange area near atop a snow-capped peak (the researcher calls this peak Navajo Peak, and is located about 8 miles northeast of the town of Chromo, Colorado. The anomalous spot (which superficially looks somewhat like a lake) certainly doesn't fit in because the rest of the area is snow-covered.

(In late 2008 I was contacted by a Los Alamos scientist who first pointed this to me when he visited my home)

Lastly, the researcher, Firefoot, describes an "arrow at Dulce". This location is at the southern point of the equilateral triangle. If you zoom in, you can clearly tell that it is a building located in the southern area of Dulce. Actually, it is the Dulce Elementary School, located right next to the Stone Lake Road.
If you zoom in, you can clearly see that the arrow is seen on the strangely-configured circular driveway of the school. This is now known among some researchers as the Dulce Arrow.

(Again, in late 2008, the very same Los Alamos scientist who visited me pointed this out to me)

What is most interesting is that from the Arrow of the circular driveway of Dulce Elementary School to the anomalous point on Navajo Peak in Colorado is exactly 18 miles.

And, from the anomalous area high atop the snow-capped Navajo Peak in Colorado to the "hangar" south of Pagosa Springs, is also exactly 18 miles.

And, from the "hangar" south of Pagosa Springs to the circular driveway of Dulce Elementary School is also exactly 18 miles!!

The last three items (i.e., "the door in the mountain", "the Dulce arrow" and "hangar in the forest") are summarized in this YouTube piece:
